So this activity was intended for kids but I did it with my sister & we found it so satisfying. Also the end result is stunning, perfect for hanging in the home - maybe get the whole family involved and create a little wall gallery from them!
What you'll need:
1. Shaving foam
2. Acrylic paints or food colouring
3. Thick paper or card
4. A large dish / baking tray / disposable foil tray - Make sure the paper can fit inside without bending
How to:
1. Firstly, fill your dish with the shaving foam.
2. Squirt some of your paint or food colouring into the shaving foam. I did a few different shades of blue & teal.
3. Gently stir the paints into the shaving foam, I just used a knife for this.
4. Pop your paper face down and flat into the bowl. Press the paper down slightly to ensure all of the underside part of the paper is covered in foam. Leave for 1 minute.
5. Peel the paper out of the bowl and leave as it is for 5 minutes.
6. Now for the juicy part! Use a knife or a ruler to gently wipe the shaving foam off the paper, see images below.
7. Leave to dry overnight and voi-lah! You have a gorgeous piece of marbled art for your home.
